the 4 month appointment went pretty well this morning. Ben looks great overall and the pediatrician had no concerns about anything. his height is pretty consistent, his weight is fine, and although his head is...large...it's typically a genetics thing and he can blame that on his father. or maybe i should blame it on his father since i had to suffer the consequences of Ben's large noggin.
he took his shots like a champ. not as much crying as last time and he almost immediately stopped when picked up and even flashed me a smile. he's such a man.
with the new plan the GI put Ben on last week, we continue to see that Ben is doing better than before. While he still enjoys fighting the bottle at least twice a day, it's been easier than it has been. He's been taking "longer" naps for the most part too (at least an hour instead of 45 min) and at this point, every little bit counts. All this to say, I am reserved in my hope of improvement as many times we make changes, initially they help, and then...it's back to disaster. So hopefully this will stick and we will even see continued improvement of his eating, sleeping, and general happiness. i just want him to be happy. happy. rested. and full.

Weight: 15 pounds 10 ounces (50th percentile)
