3 year tradition

Joey and I have been married  for 3 years and for our first anniversary we went to Kent Island and stayed on Joey's parents boat... we had so much fun it became our anniversary tradition! Joey's parents have a nice boat that has a small kitchen/room to stay on so it's a nice cheap getaway for us... no hotel fee and if we want, we can make some food on the boat (of course we usually opt for going out).

This year we went over the July 4th weekend because we have been so busy the weekends around our actual anniversary were booked. Plus we got a couple extra days this way. We drove up on Thursday night and left early Monday morning. We did almost nothing, and it was fantastic. I read 3 books sitting on the front of the boat in the sun. We hung out, ate, ate, and ate, we watched the fireworks several nights from the boat, we took the boat to St. Michaels, docked, walked around and shopped. We went for a couple rides and just enjoyed each other's company. It was a great time. We needed to get away from work, responsibility, and the busyness of the summer.
