june 23 2007. the big day. they say that as a bride, you don't remember anything. well. maybe i am an exception to the rule. but i remember it all and i loved every minute of it. for those of you who haven't heard me talk about the "Perfect Day", here is a quick recap:
first a little photo action
best day of my life. and the most fun day of my life.
the ceremony took place in charlottesville, va at 3pm. and reception to follow at the monticello conference center. it was a beautiful day with beautiful people. my two maid of honors: briana (sister) and katharine (best friend) along with 6 other beautiful ladies. the men were not all that bad either ;)
walking down the isle to the traditional cannon in d... joey's face was stone. you would have thought we were at a funeral. pastor minter from our current church married us, and during the ceremony two friends played "how beautiful" and "a page is turned". after the final kiss we made our way back down the isle a mr. and mrs. wiegold!
the photo shoot took the usual amount of time. but lets be honest. i love the camera, the camera loves me, and modeling is in the blood. okay- that is all a lie, but definitely have a secret desire to be hannah montana (maybe not so secret). so we made our way to monticello for dinner and getting down with our bad selves.
not to bore you all with the details of a four hour reception- but i do remember it all. first dance: "she's everything" brad paisley. cake: i got him good in the face. overall- there was some food.friends.and fun.
we made our way out through the bubbles into our white stretch bentley-upgrade! too mad the privacy window didn't work (that's a story for another post). we were off. to st. lucia! and currently...happily ever after
