married people do have fun.

 this weekend was off the hook. yes- i can pull of saying that.yo. seriously though. sometimes i think that married people get stereotyped as staying in and having no fun. which, okay, sometimes we definitely do. not the no fun part, the staying in part. this weekend though was a little different.

friday was bowling. the bowling alley even got new shoes- red and blue, i might even wear them out. let's be honest. we played 2 games. our "bowling names" were glock and hannah montana. if those two names don't describe us to a tee- i don't know what would. our team also beat the other team we bowled against. just had to throw that out there. no big deal.

saturday i drove out to occoquan to meet katharine. we had lunch at a local sandwich shop and shopped around at the little boutique stores. it was a perfect meeting place in between richmond and reston for some quality girl time in 55 degree february weather!  joey got to hang out with brandon around town. saturday night we both went out to a birthday party. we probably were the coolest couple there. okay maybe not.

sunday - super bowl sunday. watched the game. woohoo giants. and then watched house. love it.

finally. best sleepover ever last night with the girls from work. i may be married but i can still have sleepovers. yes. joey misses me. but who wouldn't? kidding. but married people get out. we do stuff. we are not another bread of human. we may not party until the cows come home. but we party.

of course. i forgot my camera to every event i attended this week and have no proof. so trust me. or don't. but it's true. i promise. let's hang out.
