Jesus: The Only Way to God

Good book. Worth a read. 

Here are some of my favorite quotes/verses/excerpts: (they are in order throughout the book however since I read it on my kindle I can't reference the page numbers.)

"The world will tell you that you are arrogant, not loving, if you spread the message of Jesus's saving work as the only way to God. But God calls it love."

"'There is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus who gave himself a ransom for all' (1 Tim. 2:5-6).

   This is not spoken with any one group of people in mind but with humanity in mind: 'one mediator between God and men.' Not God and Jews or God and any other ethnic or religious group. The problem between God and humanity is one, and God sent one mediator to deal with it." 

"Jesus purchased a people for himself from all the tribes and languages of the world. God did not plan multiple saviors for multiple peoples. He planned one Savior for all peoples. his atonement is the means in every culture by which men and women become part of his kingdom."

"This is our final destiny. Mission is our temporary, lifelong task. Persecution may be our appointed lot (1 Thess. 3:3). Only God's approval matters in the end.
