this last month has been...exhausting. Ben had visits to the pediatrician, the E.R., neurologists, and a pediatric opthamologist... nothing conclusive, but nothing life threatening. We continue to "watch". watching makes me tired. While i've been working on trusting the Lord in this...Ben keeps growing and is now 8 months old!
He sits all by himself, but I can't leave him without a pillow behind him because when he gets mad he throws himself backwards...oh the tantrums.
He isn't crawling, partly because he despises tummy time with his heart and soul. His reflux has been acting up lately and i'm sure laying on your stomach doesn't help that. He will only be on his stomach with his pacifier. But his pacifier calms him so much he's just content kind of laying there, rolling to his side and playing with a toy or his feet. However there have been a couple times when he kind of rocks back and forth on his stomach to move forward to get a toy. But for the most part he just doesn't care enough to move. It's a bit amusing.
Really, i am enjoying the non-mobile Ben right now because i don't have to chase him 24/7. But I'm looking forward to that too :)
