it is a summer of weddings and love is in the air. the first one was Joe and Rachel's wedding. Rachel is one of my best friends and being a part of that day was so special. i love her and i love joe and the two of them are such a great couple. the lord has truly blessed their relationship and the lord's presence was so clear throughout the entire day. these two people are some of the most amazing people in the world and i am so blessed to know them. some pictures from their day:
Joey and I were in this wedding together which was really fun... and joe and rachel were both in ours three years ago... it was one big JMU reunion as well and all of my best friends were bridesmaids too. it really was such a special weekend. the friends i made in college are amazing. and the fact that i am still great friends with them 6 years later is such a blessing. it really just makes me smile.

i wasn't in this wedding but it was also a JMU reunion wedding. love it. Shelly and Bobby, also known affectionately as "Shobby" got hitched a week after joe and rachel. these two are also great people and so fun to be around. we love them and love hanging out with them. Shelly is one of the sweetest girls i know and Bobby reminds me a lot of Joey... so of course, he's a cool guy.and some pictures from their special day:
you can see the group pictures from both weddings... these are JMU pictures... and more than that all these people know each other and met through campus crusade at JMU. i was so blessed by the amazing friends i made through this community at college. i know this type of fellowship is so hard to come by in life, and the fact that i had it, even if only consistently for a couple years, has blessed me for the rest of my life.
