LAUREN. lauren and i have known each other for almost 3 years now. She was one of my first friends up here in NOVA apart from people i already knew from college. She worked with me at America World as a family coordinator and we got to be great friends. we have weird connections because she is from Charlottesville too. the first connection we made is when she was training me and i saw her picture on her desk-- one of the girls in it i recognized as playing in my upcoming wedding. Well, it was her sister who was playing the piano in my wedding! I knew her sister through a childhood church friend who ended up marrying her! So needless to say... we have connections. Another funny connection is that i found out that my best friend in 4th grade, ended up being one of hers in middle/high school. small world, but makes sense that we would have the same friends we are a lot of like. anyway...
these pictures are saying goodbye to Lauren. she left America World/northern Va to move back to Charlottesville where her family is.. let's just say, i wasn't a fan. but i understand, and am thankful that 1) Charlottesville is only 2 hours away and 2) my family lives there. this was about a month ago, and needless to say. i've seen her already 2 weekends :)
this was a fun time. we all love Lauren and miss her a lot. But it was a night of celebrating her and our friendship for which we are all VERY thankful. So we went to Lauriol Plaza in DC -- it's a mexican restaurant and is so good, and has some really good margaritas. i can't wait to go back with them all.
