resolution.

my resolution is to blog more frequently. i figure there really is no point if the updates are so random, no one will read the thing. so i updated the look and all. we will see where it goes from here. just fyi if you're wondering about the blog title- it's from a song by the group "plumb" that a college friend introduced me too- i highly recommend them.

joey and i have recently decided to work more diligently on the house. i think we got so overwhelmed by painting and moving we rebelled. but this past weekend we decided we would work on the outside. we bought some mulch (black per joey's preference... i like red, but the black looks good) and some flowers. it looks great! now, we live in a town house so the area we have to 'garden' is limited, but i think we did a pretty good job. you be the judge...

after gardening we organized the garage so that my car would fit. the transformation was amazing- i wish i had documented it with pictures. but unfortunately no such luck. while at home depot we also picked up some essentials needed for home owners- an outdoor broom, a garbage can (finally), and a hose.  so i decided to wash my car.

i was pretty proud of my self regardless of the fact it still looked pretty dirty after i was done. i mean, there was tons of sticky nasty stuff that wasn't coming off with the sponge.. i was going to use a toothbrush, but joey wouldn't let me. so i left it. but i washed the front windshield a couple times trying to get all that gunk up- which is funny considering i didn't notice that the inspection sticker on the window was 2 months expired! it took someone riding in my car to point that out... a day later. how i didn't notice after scrubbing it clean- i do not know.  anyway. i thanked my lucky stars that i didn't get a ticket for the past two months or the two days before i could get it inspected.
