blogging...

working in adoption i read a lot of blogs. i love reading them and seeing all the updated pictures of the children that have been adopted from China.  I (we) created this blog so our friends and family can keep up with us, but we are far from everyday bloggers like these families. I am not going to lie- i get a little jealous of their witty, everyday blogging.

i figured it has been a while since our last blog. no new pictures because life has been insanely busy... in a non-exciting way.  Joey has been working non-stop for the past two going on three weeks.  His job comes and goes with late nights at work and most of the time he enjoys a 40hr/week job...but recently he'd be lucky to get out of their by 12am.  I on the other hand have been working the 9-5...i love my job, but i don't get paid enough to stay late and thankfully nothing is as urgent as in Joey's job.

We are still slowly working on the house. My dad came up and helped paint the upstairs- it was a huge blessing- we are so sick of painting.  It was refreshing seeing paint on the walls that we didn't put up! Working our way downstairs we still have a good chunk to paint.... and to furnish!  A couple more days of cleaning and organizing hopefully we'll be ready for this memorial day weekend :)
